Someone need to give out more digi bracelet. It be too freaky to have a big size digimon around too much.
What I'm thinking happened with Pucchiemon that lead to her evolving this way was bottled up resentment both in the Digital World and in the human world due to loneliness.
Yes, that can be the case.
I mean even Digimon can't payback all good deeds with the same since like people, all Digimon are different and that goes for their abilities.
Let's hope that wouldn't be a case, because it will ruin everything if they end everything quickly.
Digimon Adventure 2020 had 67 episodes, and I personally think that Ghost Game is going to have more than 67 episode, even maybe more that Xros wars had (79 episodes, if you included Hunters as part of Xros wars).
I would prefer if they said Ghost Game will have a second season instead of rushing its barely existing plot in 5 episodes
This is why I am actually mad not at the lack of plot progression, but mad at how ghost game gave itself a plot when it is actually good already as a episodic series. but setting a plot just hurt it by everyone's expectations about the plot
Let's hope that they won't rush it with plot when the end will be near.
Remember, we still don't know how many episodes Ghost Game is going to have. And, probably, many things regarding Ghost Game changed after Toei had been hacked.
True, guess we'll have to wait and see.
Adventure 2020 had 66 episodes actually if I recall or I could be wrong.
Firstly, it was 66 episodes, but they made 67th episode to wrap things up.
Wait, did I miss something?
I think that they needed 67th episode to finish fight with Abaddomon and to gave us to see Omegamon Alter-S.
Oh ok I didn't miss anything.
Yup, 50 episode we are now on 50 episode... 100th episode till ending lets go
I was ready to drop this digimon season around ep 5, but it managed to catch my attention, its different from evil vs good plot of other seasons but still interesting to watch, even more when digimons are just being misunderstood... these single case eps are very creative and well written...
It's an interesting experiment this series. It's almost like what Pokemon did with Pokemon Journeys. It's not consecutive to another episode and can be watched by itself. Here and there might be an arc but it's very short.
I've said this before with Ghost Game; the writers can write great episodes but are cut short and most of them end as soon as the good part is revealed and sometimes just before it gets anywhere.
It's like thw writers are being stopped at some point, to not get to the best part and the episode must end in a specific manner instead. I wish some episodes are followed up in the next one...
And it has a lot of Horror Movie References. Thats a pretty cool Idea.
It is helped by the fact it has a good cast, all 3 tamers and mon are all fun and interesting, even if the plot is thin, their antics kinda make up for it.
I like the slice of life mixed with horror tone the show is going for
SURE it could be improved just a little by having more variety and adding other 2 maybe 4 tops secondary oairs of tamer and digimon companion to compliment its tone by making it more "anthology like" (as in "sometimes we follow our main cast and sometimes we see them fail HARD so sometimes the secondaries and less experienced have to be the ones saving the day, and back and forth alternate").
ESPECIALLY considering how the show's main goal is just showing digimon and humans learning how to coexist and how the differences can sometimes cause chaos and horror they have to control
showing more of said coexistence between more characters would actually help
Guessing that's not sarcasm, but yeah like you said.
I don't even know most evolution line, but pucchiemon evolving into Meicrackmon. That came into a suprise.
This is a relatively big misunderstanding in Digimon, as unlike Pokemon, Digimon have many forms that they can follow during evolution and not just 1 or 2, for sure there are predispositions for example Gabumon to want become Garurumon but in no case is it absolute
Digimon has more evolution lines which can be triggered through different things. For example from Digimon adventure 1 Greymon into Skull greymon. It's all about factors
there are the natural Digivolutions(often multiple for digimon like Agumon) that are especially common in partner digimon and then the alternate evolutions that have MANY different kinds of triggers in the shows, games, ect... which usually causes them to gain a wildly different appearance(Digimon Cybersleuth's evo-system is actually a great example of it).
damn, why u roasting her like that
Mei with no shortage of emotional problems as usual.
So this is what happens if Meicoomon does crack, eh? >_>
I wonder... What if GulusGammamon fight Vandemon, will he able to win?
Hm, that's an interesting thought.
Gulus killed almost with ease Archnemon and Oboromon, but I think he will struggle with Vamdemon.
Wow, now I even feel worse for Meicoomon and its evolution line... They deserve better... 😔
the worst part is that this, what happened to this meicrackmon, is an improvement over what happened to the meicoomon who was just erased from existence by the betsumon after they stole its identity
poor Meicoomon evolution line only gets the short end of stick everytime
I was hoping we would get a new addition to the team but guess not
i really wish we got more secondary tamers
I wouldn't expect them to join all adventures but it would be really amusing to have those pairs in background just doing their own stuff. Kinda like how Mummymon went to learn human medicine.
And once in a while have the secondary tamers occasionally help the main cast when the main cast is out of comission.
Kinda like how YuGiOh SEVENS handled its secondary characters.
SEVENS really treated its supporting secondary cast way better than most other shows aimed towards at either kids or adults do
Kotarou, Emma, Aoi, Mika, Moe (Ruli's freinds), Riku, Yuuto, Yuina, Kayono... All of them have potential to be new part of team.
In Digimon Tamers, they gave digimon to Juri, Hirokazu, Shaochung and Kenta. Maybe, they will do that here, too.
Well that got sad out of nowhere.
Literally got flashbacks to tri when Mei appeared on screen, and said “Mei”.
God that brings back memories… and part of them not so good ones.
Yep, God forbid we have a side character become a tamer. Nope, it has to be limited to just the three leads. It's like every single time it seems like they'll start following the more believable step of making everyone capable of owning a Digimon, they back pedal on it.
I keep whining about it but NOTHING EVER HAPPENS, it is always just "MONSTER OF THE WEEK" and then "TALK NO JUTSU", rarely something happens and plot moves. Bruh, if I wanted the same shit each week with no to rare plot movement I'd watch Pokémon, wait, I am already doing that regardless of how shitty their character designs become in starting with Sun & Moon. I hope that next season won't be like Ghost Game, because I swear I would fucking Gaia Force the fuck out whoever is responsible for it, lmao. Granted it was nice seeing Meicrackmon again.
If nothing ever happened and the story feel like shit, please just drop and stop watch it. It's not like you watching from illegal free site will contribute anything aside from annoyed other who like the series.
People saying that Ghost Game is good. The plot: I am gonna kill or kidnap people but whoops i misunderstood my bad byeee
the recent "kidnapped brides episode" says hello
wow man so sad that this is not the same as your beloved adventure, how dare Digimon to even try another format or genre other than kodomo fantasy with a cliche story that teaches love and friendship
You know Ghost Game still applies the love and friendship formula in the end right? Your argument is 100% invalid to be honest, and on top of that, A LOT of people are already fed up with the Monster of the Week theme.
Sure, Tamers was also kinda Monster of the Week for example, but beneath that formula there was a plot that developed slowly but steady until it turned into something huge... and that plot made Tamers one of the best Digimon shows ever.
But here? This show is drip feeding us the plot at a horrible place, because there's a plot with the whole Gulus stuff and Dark Digimons, but nothing significant has happened that lead to that actual plot.
the next season after ghost game is 02 reboot
Why would they even make a reboot of existing seasons? It would be better if they make something new and original.
Digimon Adventure 2020 showed us that reboots could be even worse than originals.
If it's like Adventure 2020 then I'm not gonna even bother.
I advice you to drop if this show have a horrible plot, don't give me other excused. Tamer only have 51 episode and the plot only thicken half away through the series but Ghost Game clearly have more than 51 episode.
Big Titty Cat GF
Interesting episode and kinda sad, I bet that Pucchiemon had it really rough in the past, possibly even suffered some kind of trauma that got worse the moment it evolved into Meicrackmon... which honestly was an unexpected surprise to see her in this episode.
But this episode made me think about something, I'm starting to believe that Digimons are realizing that humans are the key to evolution, it happened today with this Meicrackmon in Vicious mode and it happened again in several episodes in the past... especially the bride episode.
I'm interested to see how these things will be going... but we're already at the 50th episode mark and looks like the next one will be the same old Monster of the Week...
I really hope Ghost Game doesn't have 62 episodes total or so, because I would hate to see this show reaching the real plot, only to speedrun it within 5 episodes or less.
